About 1961
Yield
In 1961, the average yield per hectare shows an average of 7500 KG/HA.
Flowering
Flowering didn't always go so well. It was too sunny and too hot during this critical period of early June. The grapes this year were almost all beautiful grapes. Among the less beautiful grapes there were some millerandage in certain sectors.
Harvest
The accidents came from an excess of water at the end of the harvest, particularly in the Montagne de Reims, which brought a little gray rot. It should be noted, as a characteristic feature of this harvest, quite large differences in maturity, which often required a second picking.
