Flowering
The flowering took place in 3 phases, it was first very fast, then slowed down by the low temperatures and accelerated again to finish better than it had started. That year, the diseases were very present. Indeed, the millerandage was strongly accused as well as a strong attack of acariosis in the spring.
Harvest
The 1962 harvest started late on October 4th. The harvest was favored by unexpected weather and very good quality grapes. The factors that limited the volume are coulure, acariosis and millerandage.
