Flowering
Slow start to flowering, the pace of which increases for rapid fruit set. There is sometimes a little millerandage and powdery mildew which are virulent in the whites, or its damage will however remain limited.
Harvest
The 1959 harvest began on September 10. The harvest, of excellent maturity, was favored by exceptional weather conditions during the summer. It was of very good quality, although the wines appear too full-bodied.
